2004 Winter Games of Oregon Sports
Extreme Competition
This event is for expert skiers and snowboarders. Competitors are instructed to ski a designated untracked area, given a time limit and are judged on the following criteria: aggressiveness, technique, fluidity, degree of difficulty and control. Scores will be totaled. Helmets are recommended.

Giant Slalom
Pro-style head-to-head giant slalom racing. Racer completes 2 runs, one on each course. Best time counts. Racer will be disqualified if racer misses a gate or does not finish. Limited to first 200 participants. Note: Additional waiver required.

Speed Trap
Would you like to know how fast you ski/ride? Check your speed in our Speed Trap. We will record the highest speed you achieve within a 100 yard section of the Lower Bowl. $5 per run/3 run maximum. Note: Skier/Rider must provide own lift ticket. For this event only, you can register at the start of the course. T-shirts not given for participants in this event. Helmets are recommended.

Super G
Combination of G.S. and Downhill. Racers can achieve higher speeds while testing their ability to turn. For expert skiers! Helmets required.

Slope Style
A contest in which skiers and snowboarders are judged on their ability to ride jumps and rails in a terrain park format. Riders are scored on the difficulty of tricks, fluidity of the run and the style they incorporate into their riding.
